The Association of Leading Greek Fruit Producer Organizations, ASEPOP Velventos & A.C Rachis Pierias “O AGIOS LOUKAS,” organised a press event in Belgrade, Serbia, on October 17th, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., held at the Restaurant Rustic Gastro Pub (Jelisavete Nacic 1, 11000, Belgrade). This event was a part of the European program titled “Information provision & promotion measures on fresh fruits in Serbia and Norway,” under the banner of “Taste FRUITful LIFE.” The primary goal was to provide information and promote high-quality European fresh fruits, including peaches, nectarines, cherries, and apples.
The event was designed to enlighten various stakeholders, including journalists, HORECA professionals, health experts, importers, healthy food and lifestyle bloggers, and distributors, about the exceptional quality and delightful taste of European fresh fruits. It also aimed to showcase the Association’s dedication to high-end organisation and production standards.
One of the highlights of the event was the distribution of comprehensive media kits containing relevant information to all participants. Attendees were also given the opportunity to engage in discussions with the event’s organisers.
The EU-funded program, “Taste FRUITful LIFE,” is a three-year campaign with the primary objective of promoting premium-quality European fresh fruits in the markets of Norway and Serbia. This initiative seeks to raise awareness about the exceptional quality of European agricultural products and the rigorous production and processing standards enforced within the European Union. Furthermore, the campaign aims to enhance the competitiveness and consumption of EU fresh fruits, spearheaded by the Association of Leading Greek Fruit Producer Organizations located in Northern Greece.
