Fruit Dessert With Vanilla Yogurt & Spices
Fruits in syrup with spices:
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cardamom
4 cinnamon sticks
1 tablespoon brown sugar
2 tablespoons greek honey
1 dl applejuice
8 oatmeal cookies
350 g greek vanilla yogurt
4 tablespoons chopped walnuts
Clean the fruits and divide them into pieces.
Have the pieces in a frying pan.
Add spices, sugar, honey and apple juice.
Heat up the mixture and let simmer for about 10 minutes while stirring until the fruit pieces are tender and the liquid has become like a thin syrup. Let cool a little.
Get 4 glasses.
Crush the oatmeal cookies and fill some into the bottom of the glasses.
Cover with a good tablespoon of Greek vanilla flavoured yogurt. Have half of the fuits and syrup into the glasses.
Repeat the process of adding the rest of the crushed oatmeal cookies, then vanilla yogurt and then the rest of the fruits and syrup.
Decorate with slightly crushed walnuts on top.
